About The Position

Serv, a global executive recruitment partner, is hiring on behalf of Advanced Anesthesia Services for a Senior Operations Manager to help lead the company through its next stage of growth. Advanced Anesthesia Services is a fast-growing anesthesia group based in Seattle, Washington, currently serving 15 surgery centers across the Puget Sound region and employing over 40 providers. The business has built a strong reputation in a highly specialized healthcare niche and is becoming one of the largest providers in its category in the region. You want to help take it to the next level. We are seeking a highly capable Senior Operations Manager to support the continued growth of Advanced Anesthesia Services. This role will serve as a key operational leader across the business, with responsibility spanning internal operations, surgery center relationships, provider support, and cross-functional coordination. The right candidate will bring a strong command of healthcare operations, a clear understanding of billing workflows, and the leadership maturity to help the company scale. The ideal candidate has experience in anesthesia billing, understands how to operate in a high-performance environment, and has the confidence to take ownership of outcomes across a dynamic and growing organization. This role has significant visibility and impact. It is designed for someone who can step in, build trust quickly, strengthen systems, and help create the operational infrastructure needed for the business to continue expanding.

Requirements

5+ years of operations leadership experience in healthcare or a related medical environment
Direct experience with anesthesia billing is required
Strong understanding of healthcare operations, billing workflows, and provider-facing environments
Proven ability to operate independently and drive outcomes without heavy oversight
Experience managing complex workflows across multiple stakeholders
Strong relationship management skills with both internal teams and external partners
Excellent judgment, communication, and problem-solving ability
Comfort working in a fast-paced, founder-led, high-growth environment

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting growth-stage businesses or scaling operational infrastructure is strongly preferred
Familiarity with recruiting coordination or provider support within a medical setting is an asset

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational leadership across the business
Create structure, accountability, and follow-through across key workflows
Support the founder by taking ownership of operational priorities and execution
Help build the systems and processes needed to scale effectively
Bring a strong understanding of anesthesia billing cycles and workflows
Partner closely with the billing team and Billing Manager to ensure operational alignment
Monitor billing-related processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement
Serve as an informed operational partner across the financial and revenue cycle side of the business
Support relationships with surgery center partners across the Puget Sound region
Ensure client needs, concerns, and operational issues are addressed quickly and effectively
Act as a strong operational point of contact for external stakeholders
Help maintain high service levels across all partner locations
Support the internal provider experience across the organization
Partner with leadership to ensure anesthesia providers feel supported, informed, and set up for success
Assist with recruiting coordination in support of anesthesia hiring efforts
Help maintain strong communication and operational consistency across provider teams
Work alongside finance leadership and other internal stakeholders to support business operations
Coordinate across teams to ensure priorities are moving forward efficiently
Identify operational gaps and proactively implement solutions
Contribute to a collaborative, high-accountability culture focused on performance and results
Help prepare the business for continued growth across new and existing relationship
Support operational infrastructure as the company scales year over year
Bring leadership perspective that helps the company grow beyond its current stage
Operate as a true partner in helping the organization reach its next level of performance
