About The Position

Maryland Environmental Service’s Environmental Operations (EO) Group has an opening for a Senior Operations Manager at the Midshore Regional Landfill, located in Easton, MD. This position plans, coordinates, and directs the daily functions of the assigned operations facility and acts as a liaison between MES Headquarters and facility personnel.

Requirements

• Graduation from a standard high school or GED plus 7 years applicable experience and 4 years supervisory experience in field operations, recycling/solid waste, bio-solids management or construction activities.
• OR 10 years of progressively responsive experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment or working in field operations applicable to the hiring facility. This experience must include a lead role in field operations, recycling/solid waste or construction activities.
• Accredited vocational school with a major in a related field for up to 2 years’ experience or 3 years’ experience with an applicable college degree.
• Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• MES does not participate in programs that require sponsorship for work visas.
