Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• At least 4 years of management experience in Receiving, Inventory Control, and/or Order Fulfillment
• Experience with building or improving inventory management, order management, and warehouse management systems
• Eagerness to work in a start-up environment with high levels of ambiguity and change
• Strong project management and continuous improvement skills
• Data-centric mentality
• Customer service obsession
• Effective communicator and leader for employees and cross-functional teams
• Validated ability to adapt and drive results using data
• High levels of integrity and ethics
• Flexibility to work weekends and/or night shifts

Responsibilities

• Build strong teams while improving procedures, metrics, and processes
• Lead and manage a team of Operation Managers and Area Managers
• Develop and coordinate operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments
• Ensure the highest standards of inventory accuracy
• Develop and maintain a safe work environment
• Achieve all operational goals
• Drive tactical planning and forecasting
• Source and guide ideas from Operations Managers and Area Managers for improvement plans
• Mentor, train, and develop Operation Managers for career progression
• Share standard methodologies across shifts and the network
• Create a positive team-based atmosphere that encourages suggestions and inspires change
• Drive continuous improvement to safety, quality, cost, and delivery
• Optimize order fulfillment using the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
