This hybrid role combines traditional FP&A responsibilities—forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis—with hands-on leadership in building and optimizing financial systems, tools, and automation solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate is an experienced finance professional with a strong understanding of data architecture and system integration who can bridge the gap between Finance, IT, and Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial systems management.
  • Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis in a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience in developing tools and reports using Power BI, SQL, Excel (advanced), and data visualization platforms.
  • Experience with ERP and EPM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar).
  • Strong command of relational databases, SQL queries, and data transformation.
  • Ability to design and maintain complex data models and integrations.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and Excel automation (Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA preferred).
  • Understanding of accounting principles, cash flow, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Self-starter comfortable owning projects from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Analyze financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Partner with business leaders to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate investments, business cases, and operational initiatives.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and Board-level presentations summarizing performance and key metrics.
  • Serve as the Finance systems owner for FP&A tools, data integrations, and automation processes.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, data models, and reports using Power BI, SQL, and other analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and process standardization across platforms (ERP, CRM, BI, etc.).
  • Develop and document automated workflows, improving data collection, consolidation, and reporting timelines.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies that enhance forecasting, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
  • Train and support Finance team members in using systems, models, and dashboards.
