About The Position

The Senior On-Site Service Specialist in Hospitality provides a consistent and high-quality standard of food and beverage setup/service to clients, ensuring smooth delivery of conference and function services. This role involves setting up and breaking down conference rooms according to event orders and maintaining cleanliness standards for kitchens, equipment, and meeting rooms. The specialist assembles and arranges conference equipment in function and conference rooms per event requirements and disassembles conference rooms at appropriate breakdown times. Office maintenance tasks include trash removal, cleaning, ordering, and restocking kitchens and supplies. The position may also involve general clerical duties such as reception, copying, mail services, and shipping and receiving products and supplies. This position reports directly to the Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager, depending on site personnel configuration.

Requirements

  • Requires high school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of related hospitality and office experience is preferred
  • May require a valid driver's license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage per Ricoh policy

Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellent and professional client service at all times
  • Lead in coordinating meeting rooms and events
  • Train team members on responsibilities and tasks associated with the position
  • Set up and break down conference rooms, functions, and events including tables, chairs, podiums, and divider wall adjustments
  • Undertake general waiting and service duties of food and beverages
  • Follow hygienic food and beverage handling procedures
  • Provide general assistance in cleaning kitchen and function areas as directed
  • Manage conference/hospitality calendar and greet clients and guests
  • Perform conference room sweeps including adjusting chairs, wiping down tables, stocking supplies, and adjusting blinds
  • Set up and assemble flip charts, whiteboards, and cork boards
  • Prepare food for client meetings, parties, and company events
  • Maintain kitchens and clean kitchen equipment including coffee machines and refrigerators
  • Load dishwasher with items used by client personnel
  • Order and keep track of inventory for supplies, food, and beverages
  • Maintain occasional cleaning duties in the office or building locations
  • Perform general clerical, copy center, mail, and delivery duties as required
  • Perform other job duties as assigned
