About The Position

The Senior Officer for the Philadelphia Research and Policy Initiative at Pew will develop and manage the initiative's research agenda, focusing on improving city government and the well-being of Philadelphia's residents. Requirements

  • Special expertise in at least one city-focused subject area or knowledge of city-related data sources.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Adept at synthesizing and summarizing large amounts of information.
  • Task-oriented with a focus on achieving clear and ambitious goals.
  • Proven experience developing and moving projects forward independently.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to manage productive relationships.
  • Attention to detail and maintaining accuracy in work products.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and identify emerging urban policy issues relevant to Philadelphia.
  • Contribute to other work tasked to the initiative and broader Pew-related projects.
