About The Position

We're seeking a talented Systems Engineer that is in the Cincinnati, OH, area to support a local customer. As a Systems Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that shape the future of avionics and electronic controls. Requirements

  • BS in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent plus 4 years' experience.
  • Experience with systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Ability to prioritize and adjust to dynamic project needs.
  • Ability to work in a laboratory environment.

Nice To Haves

  • MS in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent plus 4 years' experience.
  • Experience in full lifecycle including requirements, design, integration, validation, and verification.
  • 1+ years of experience using MBSE/SYSML tools such as MagicDraw/Cameo.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with good problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability.
  • Planning and organization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support a customer in the Cincinnati, OH, area as a Senior Off-Site Systems Engineer.
  • Represent the BAE Engine Controls group and be a steward for business interests.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the products supported.
  • Travel to the customer facility periodically or work from the customer facility to provide necessary support.
  • Help troubleshoot products in the customer's lab and assist with requirements on new development programs.
  • Travel to Endicott, NY and Fort Wayne, IN facilities to develop a greater understanding of the product.
  • Build relationships with customers to gain their trust.
