About The Position
Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is PT and will work 10-hour, Variable shifts. Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo has received Magnet designation in 2012, 2017, 2021 and are in the process of earning our fourth designation in 2025! Under minimal supervision, performs and documents quality nuclear medicine procedures (invasive and noninvasive) on neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a timely manner as ordered by the physician. Supports supervisor and radiologist in carrying out their duties that in turn contribute to an effective an efficient Nuclear Medicine department. Promotes positive working relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other employees demonstrating teamwork to ensure excellent patient care, esprit de corps, and positive comments from all concerned parties. Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine. Or equivalent educ/experience Coursework/Training and Participate in continuing education program.
- Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Or Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year of experience as a technologist in the area of expertise in a hospital setting and/or Imaging Center.
