About The Position

Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is PT and will work 10-hour, Variable shifts. Under minimal supervision, performs and documents quality nuclear medicine procedures (invasive and noninvasive) on neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a timely manner as ordered by the physician. Supports supervisor and radiologist in carrying out their duties that in turn contribute to an effective an efficient Nuclear Medicine department. Promotes positive working relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other employees demonstrating teamwork to ensure excellent patient care, esprit de corps, and positive comments from all concerned parties. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent education/experience.
  • National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification.
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • 1 year of experience as a technologist in a hospital setting and/or Imaging Center.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of experience as a technologist in a hospital setting and/or Imaging Center.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document quality nuclear medicine procedures on patients of all ages.
  • Support supervisor and radiologist in their duties.
