The Senior NPI Technician will work directly with ATL engineers to support the NPI Process. Including the design of new product and the transfer of production lines between ATL sites or customer to ATL site.
Responsibilities
Support prototypes creation using 3D printing, assembling, machining, soldering, and any other necessary manufacturing step.
Conduct environmental and performance qualification test planning, test fixture design, test execution, creation of test reports, root cause analysis, and report findings.
Perform and/or supervise testing, data collection and analysis, research, and prototype creation.
Coordinate activities and product development with internal partners and external suppliers.
Support equipment installation and qualification.
Travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent at a minimum.
10+ years of experience on catheter manufacturing process development or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with mechanical, electronic, sub-system and system design.
Experience with CAD software (Solidworks preferred).
Ability to define problems, organize, evaluate, and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Nice-to-haves
Experience with medical device assembly.
Experience with machine shop, 3D printing and connectors.
