About The Position

Nth Generation is seeking a Senior Networking Solutions Architect with expertise in wireless and wired networking solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and integrating solutions for clients, providing ongoing support, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. The position requires maintaining technical competence in various Nth Generation solutions and may involve travel to client sites or attending technical training sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking technologies and a commitment to the company's vision, mission, and values.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in solution design, implementation planning, and deployment of multi-vendor networking and firewall solutions.
• Strong product knowledge of HPE Aruba, Juniper, Extreme Networks, and Cisco.
• Demonstrated experience as a senior implementation lead on networking and firewall solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex technical solutions clearly.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• PC literacy including Office365 applications.

Nice To Haves

• Enterprise Infrastructure CCNP or CCIE certification.
• Additional security and/or wireless certifications.
• Experience with VMware SDN (NSX) and Hybrid Cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of firewall technologies such as Palo Alto.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expert support to Nth's Sales team as a formal Solution Architect.
• Assess, design, and architect Networking & Security strategies for clients' moves to Private, Hybrid, and Public Clouds.
• Perform Wi-Fi site surveys using tools such as Ekahau.
• Compile comprehensive written reports related to customers' specific risk and business plans.
• Assist with Nth Networking solution demos, POCs, or short-duration services.
• Complete partner pre-sales certifications and shadowing engagements.
• Drive to customer sites and collaborate with team members at Nth offices.
• Maintain accurate records and notes regarding all client projects.
• Attend training and certification classes as needed.
• Perform work on special projects as required.
