We are seeking a Senior Network Technician to join our TekSynap team, supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the Intelligence Community. The Senior Network Technician monitors, controls, and isolates problems in a data communications network.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with a CI Poly.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• Cisco IOS experience

Nice To Haves

• One or more of the following certifications:
• Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE)
• CompTIA (Network+, Security+)
• Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE)

Responsibilities

• Monitor all network activity.
• Activate/deactivate network lines according to established schedules.
• Perform first- and/or second-level problem determination (first level is help desk).
• Interface with users and/or network vendors.
• Provide technical support for LAN/WAN or for a section of a larger network.
• May perform installation, modification, and testing of network.
