About The Position

Parsons is looking for a talented Network Engineer to join our growing team! In this role you will get to support a critical defensive cyber operations missions to help secure our nations infrastructure.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of network fundamentals
• Understanding of routing protocols
• Strong understanding of secure architecture design
• Understanding of ports and protocols
• Ability to coordinate changes throughout multiple organizations to bring up new links and troubleshoot network tunnels
• Active Top Secret clearance
• 5+ years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

• CCNA or equivalent certification
• PanOS experience
• Systems Administration in Linux (RHCSA or equivalent)
• PKI integration
• Data Transport technologies (Kafka, NiFi, Niagara Files)
• Associates or Bachelors degree in a relevant field

Responsibilities

• Working as a member of a small team to build out enclaves to support national defense sensor networks
• Configuring next-get Firewalls to support national defense missions
• Performing critical data transport functions in support of cyber missions
