About The Position

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, operation documentation, and support of the Firm's systems infrastructure. This role involves overseeing and participating in all phases of the infrastructure life cycle, including needs analysis, planning, design, implementation, operation, and maintenance. The Senior Network Engineer will work as part of the Technical Operations team in implementing, operating, and supporting the core infrastructure of the Firm's IT Systems.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in LAN/WAN Network deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Wireless LAN deployment and maintenance.
• Experience in Security Infrastructure administration and maintenance.
• Experience in Microsoft Exchange configuration and administration.
• Experience in Azure Cloud Services.
• Ability to work in complex IT environments.
• Experience with planning, implementation, and documentation of tasks/projects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in all phases of the infrastructure life cycle.
• Implement, operate, and support the core infrastructure of the Firm's IT Systems.
• Develop and maintain in-depth, up-to-date technical knowledge of the applications and protocols used in the firm's information systems.
• Participate in firm-wide IT projects, system designs, procurement, and outsourcing services.
• Deploy, configure, and administer core technologies such as LAN/WAN Enterprise Networks, Storage Resource Management, Enterprise Unified Communication Systems, Virtualization systems, Exchange Messaging Systems, Disaster Recovery Operations, and Backup Operations.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate performance, security, scalability, and recoverability.
• Provide technical leadership and 3rd level support to all members of the Information Services department.
• Mentor, instruct, and develop technical staff in areas of new technology.
• Provide after-hours and on-call support for all systems as needed.
