About The Position

The Network Engineer is responsible for technical design, configuration, and implementation of local area networks and wide area networks and should have expert knowledge and experience working with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, IPS, WSAs. Ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network security industry standards and frameworks and be able to apply them practically into their network designs and engineering efforts. This position is located in Norfolk, VA. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Norfolk or surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related network engineering degree (equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree)
• At least 5 years of related experience
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• COMPTIA Security+

Nice To Haves

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• ISC2 CISSP
• At least 8 years of related experience
