  • Design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure for both local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).
  • Oversee and maintain network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Diagnose and resolve network-related issues quickly.
  • Implement network security policies and practices to safeguard the organization's data and infrastructure.
  • Continuously monitor the network's performance, identify areas of improvement, and optimize network operations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation on network configurations, procedures, and architecture.
  • Work closely with other IT teams to integrate network requirements into broader projects and initiatives.
  • Lead or participate in network-related projects, ensuring proper planning, resource allocation, and timely execution.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors for the installation and support of network hardware and software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Typically, 5-10 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
  • Proven track record in managing complex network infrastructures.
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
  • Proficiency with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and software (e.g., SolarWinds, Meraki).
  • Knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, ARP, SNMP, and others.
  • Understanding of network security practices and tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS).
  • Experience with cloud networking (Azure, Google Cloud) and SD-WAN solutions.
  • Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 addressing, routing protocols (BGP), and network management protocols.
  • Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).
