The Senior Network Engineer is fully experienced with an exceptional skill set responsible for the architecture, design and support of the enterprise network infrastructure. The individual successfully works with a team of network engineers and vendors while also collaborating with cybersecurity and other IT team members on testing, integration, and deployment of network systems. The individual serves as a key contributor and advisor to less seasoned engineers and analysts and is a liaison to the Lead Network Engineer. Additionally, the Senior Network Engineer manages the resources under their area of responsibility in order to ensure that the necessary support of new systems is available. Further, the position may include being involved in some limited leadership activities. Connecticut Children’s is the only health system in Connecticut that is 100% dedicated to children.
