Senior Network Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Engineer to join our IT Network Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for leading the implementation of network projects and serving as a top-tier escalation point for complex support issues. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in HPE-Juniper wireless technologies, Mist AI-driven networking, and a strong foundation in network architecture and protocols. Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Juniper enterprise networking, with a focus on wireless and infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with HPE-Juniper Networks and Mist wireless solutions.
- Deep understanding of network protocols (e.g., BGP, IS-IS, VLANs, STP, DHCP, DNS ).
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, packet analyzers, SNMP monitoring).
- Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) is a big plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with HPE-Aruba technologies is a plus
- BE/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Information Science, or equivalent experience.
Nice To Haves
- HPE-Juniper Networks Certified Specialist (JNCIS) or Professional (JNCIP) or Expert (JNCIE)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise network solutions, with a focus on HPE-Juniper and Mist wireless platforms.
- Act as a technical lead for network-related projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Provide Tier 3 support for escalated network incidents and performance issues.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical network operations outside of business hours.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and deliver scalable, secure solutions.
- Maintain and enhance network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate and recommend new features to improve network efficiency and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
