We are looking to add a Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Fortinet systems to our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the enterprise network infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of network systems across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in network architecture, security, and troubleshooting, and will proactively contribute to technology planning and modernization efforts to design, implement, and support our fast-growing network infrastructure. You will lead network architecture initiatives, manage escalated support issues, and ensure seamless connectivity for guests and staff, focusing on performance, security, and reliability.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience with network solutions, network switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Advanced, hands-on experience with Fortinet products: FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiClient, FortiManager, FortiEMS. Fortinet Secure SDWAN, FortiAnalyzer
Professional or Expert level network certification is required. Fortinet FCSS, Fortinet FCP, Fortinet NSE 4-8
Extensive experience designing, configuring, and managing enterprise-grade firewall solutions, with proficiency in network security architectures.
Strong understanding of routing protocols and network technologies (e.g., eBGP, iBGP, OSPF, IPSEC, trace route, Netflow).
Expertise in LAN/WAN administration, including configuring DHCP, DNS, VLANs, NAT, wireless technologies, and switches, with strong proficiency in network security integration.
Proficiency in network engineering and security firewall architecture; proficiency with Zero Trust frameworks.
Ability to produce accurate network diagrams and detailed design documentation for implementation.
Experience with architecting, designing, and troubleshooting complex LAN/WAN network solutions; proficiency with SD-WAN.
Required to maintain up-to-date expertise in modern security threats and defenses, integrating security into network designs; proficiency with NIST CSF, FIPS 140-2 or similar standards is highly desired.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a broader team to achieve objectives.
Able to clearly communicate detailed technical concepts in both oral and written formats.
Proven track record in guiding clients through the evaluation and selection of technical solutions to address business requirements in a consultative manner.
Must be willing to travel when needed.
