About the position

The Senior Network Engineer position at Capgemini involves supporting a global organization by managing and maintaining network communications across various locations. The role requires expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco and Aruba networking equipment, with a focus on both Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and installation of internal and external networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Configure Cisco Incentive and Nexus Switches using IO-S and NX-OS.
• Manage Layer 3 routing across a large multi-national organization on Cisco routers.
• Support Wi-Fi infrastructure with Cisco and Aruba APs and controllers.
• Develop and maintain network communications for various business facets.
• Test and evaluate network systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Lead and direct the work of others as needed.

Requirements

• Experience with Cisco Incentive and Nexus Switches.
• Proficiency in configuring Layer 3 routing on Cisco routers.
• Knowledge of LAN/MAN/WAN systems for network design and installation.
• Familiarity with multiprotocol routers and multilayer switches.
• Possession of industry-standard certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to ITIL v3 studies.
• Familiarity with managed services concepts in an outsourcing environment.
