About The Position

Infosys is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for our onsite locations in Omaha, NE. This position must be based out of Omaha (No remote or traveling position). This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Data Engineers and Subject Matter Experts. Essential Job Duties is to implement and support enterprise-grade networking solutions across our global infrastructure. Candidate will need to have hands-on experience with Cisco and HPE/Aruba wired and wireless network technologies, HPE/Aruba SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, and Palo Alto firewalls, alongside strong proficiency in network monitoring, automation, and IP management tools.

Requirements

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Omaha, NE or be willing to relocate to Omaha.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education will also be considered.
• 8+ years of experience in Information Technology experience with knowledge of below Network technologies.
• Experience in using network automation with Ansible, Python, or other technology is required.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco and Aruba routing/switching, including VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and VRFs.
• Proven experience with HPE/Aruba Edgeconnect SD-WAN, Aruba ClearPass, and Aruba enterprise wireless technologies.
• Strong expertise with Cisco ACI, including contracts, EPGs, tenants, and service graphing.
• Working experience with Palo Alto Next-Gen Firewalls, including policy creation and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, and Nexus Dashboard for performance monitoring and analytics.
• Familiarity with Infoblox for IP address management and DNS/DHCP configuration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain network automation scripts and templates using Ansible, Python or Cisco Catalyst Center to improve network efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routing and switching across Cisco and Aruba platforms.
• Manage HPE/Aruba SD-WAN.
• Administer Aruba Central, ClearPass, and Aruba wireless systems to ensure seamless connectivity and secure access control.
• Administer Cisco ACI fabric in the data center environment, including integration with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Monitor network health and performance using tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Catalyst Center, and Nexus Dashboard Insights.
• Utilize Infoblox for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, and systems teams to support cross-functional infrastructure projects.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide escalation support as needed.
