  • Architecting, deploying, and maintaining a high-availability and secure TCP/IP network for controlling, monitoring, and alerting functions within our enterprise data center environments, supporting the mechanical, electrical, liquid cooling, and security components.
  • Implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
  • Configuring firewalls, routers and switches to improve network efficiency and security.
  • Testing and optimizing network systems.
  • Defining and implementing network maintenance and management practices.
  • Collaborating with other groups/teams to identify, define and implement integrations.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a data center network engineering and administration role.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cumulus.
  • Deep understanding of the OSI-ISO model, switching and routing protocols, IPv4 / IPv4 addressing, and common TCP/IP protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure and meet ambitious objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as the NVIDIA Certified Professional - Cumulus, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Juniper Networks Certified Enterprise Routing and Switching Expert (JNCIE-ENT).
  • Experience with next-generation data center architectures and technologies and familiarity with programming languages for automation such as Python.
  • Experience with VLAN, Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and expertise in network security strategies and methodologies.
  • First-hand data center operations experience.
