We are seeking a passionate Senior Network Architect/Engineer to design, architect, and implement innovative Enterprise IT solutions for programs across the sector as a member of our Enterprise IT Solutions Factory (ESF) Team. Your focus will be on IT Network Modernization and contribute to the Network Engineering initiatives promoting the advancement of network modernization frameworks, approaches, toolkits, and solutions to enhance DoD and/or IC networks in support of national security. As a technical lead on IT networking-related innovation projects, you will be responsible for implementing software-defined networking architectures in a lab environment for use in multiple customer environments. In this role, you will conduct research to identify new technologies that could improve solutions and lead the development of architecture solutions and designs. You will participate in design reviews with the program teams or customers and facilitate technical exchange meetings with the customer, providing recommendations on possible solutions. Your responsibilities will also include developing, designing, configuring, and implementing data networking solutions based upon the customer's performance criteria and specifications. Additionally, you will prepare technical documentation describing new networking frameworks, approaches, and toolkits, develop and perform technical bootcamps, and mentor junior engineers. Preferred locations for this position are High Point, NC, or Northern VA, with a hybrid work model requiring onsite presence for a minimum of 3 days per week.
