About The Position
Publix Super Markets, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Data Center Services team within the Information Services (I/S) department. This hybrid position requires the selected candidate to work on-site in Alpharetta, GA for 8 days per month. The Network Engineering team is responsible for the configuration, support, and management of critical technologies including Routing/Switching, Load Balancing, and DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM). As part of the team, you will manage and configure Cisco Nexus and Catalyst data center infrastructure, support and administer Software Defined Networking (SDN) elements, and design, install, and maintain Infoblox DNS/DHCP appliances. You will also coordinate and implement software upgrades and hotfix installations to meet business requirements, deploy High Availability applications utilizing global load balancing with F5 GTM and NSX AVI GSLB, and deliver Tier-3 operational support in an on-call rotation. This role requires cross-functional participation with other engineering teams and collaboration with application owners, with occasional night work required based on project demands.
