Senior Network Designer - Virtual Warfare Center Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Phantom Works has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Designer to join us as part of the Virtual Warfare Center team located in Berkeley, MO. The Virtual Warfare Center’s Infrastructure team is responsible for the design, maintenance, and operation of the computing, networking, audio visual, and physical environment. The VWC has several locations across the United States dedicated to large scale Modeling & Simulation engagements. Position Responsibilities: Leads the identification, analysis and documentation of requirements for network transport technologies and services. Leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of the networks to ensure reliable and secure connectivity Creates, implements, maintains and documents basic network designs that conform to architectural and security standards. Supports component/equipment research. Collects data to provide project cost estimates. Leads and coordinates high level implementation planning for strategic multi-technology insertion projects. Facilitates integration of new technologies and the transition from legacy systems to support business requirements. Diagnose and resolve network problems, including hardware, software, and connectivity issues This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Berkeley, MO. Travel may be required up to 20% of the time This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active Ability to obtain SCI Access Post Start
