About The Position

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking an experienced Senior Network Architect to lead the design and modernization of a large-scale hybrid infrastructure supporting 250+ distributed sites. This role will drive the migration of on-premises environments to Amazon Web Services (AWS) , ensuring a secure, scalable, and resilient statewide network architecture.

Requirements

• 10+ years in network engineering; 4+ years in an Architect/Lead role.
• Expert-level Cisco IOS/XE/NX-OS knowledge.
• Strong AWS networking architecture experience.
• CCNP required
• Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• CCIE or AWS Solutions Architect – Professional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain hub-and-spoke and mesh architectures across 250+ locations.
• Architect secure hybrid connectivity (AWS Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, VPCs, Route 53).
• Lead routing strategy utilizing EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Manage security perimeter with Fortigate (FortiOS) firewalls and VPNs.
• Oversee load balancing using F5 LTM/GTM or Citrix NetScaler.
• Utilize SolarWinds (NPM/NCM) for monitoring, reporting, and capacity planning.
• Drive transition to SDN and cloud-native networking models.
