About The Position

This is a hybrid role based at our Lilly Rd. office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, requiring 2-3 days onsite per week. The position involves managing information systems that support the company's lines of business, ensuring performance and availability, and serving as an escalation point for complex system issues. Responsibilities include project management and training for network administrators and IT personnel. Daily tasks involve serving as a leading technical resource in IT Operations, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and maintaining complex information systems such as Devicelock Protection, SFTP, and EDI/File transfer Server Management. The role also includes managing business-critical systems like Horizon View (VDI) and VMware Dynamic Environment, as well as overseeing ticketing systems and monitoring tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Computing, or related field; or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
  • 5-10 years of related experience in an IT Operations department environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and understanding of networking concepts.
  • Flexibility to switch between programs and tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and convey thoughts to train others.
  • Ability to prioritize numerous incoming requests and resolve complex system problems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Cloud solutions (Azure, Intune, OneDrive, O365).
  • Familiarity with email gateway management and support.
  • Experience with Microsoft (MCSE) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage information systems supporting the company's lines of business.
  • Work with various departments to maintain performance and availability of business systems.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex system availability and performance issues.
  • Provide project management and training for network administrators and IT personnel.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for IT Operations.
  • Maintain and support complex information systems including Devicelock Protection, SFTP, and EDI/File transfer Server Management.
  • Manage business-critical systems including Horizon View (VDI) and VMware Dynamic Environment.
  • Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, and IT monitoring software deployment.
  • Analyze and isolate complex system issues to effect restorative efforts.
  • Maintain configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
