About The Position

Onset Technologies is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for the Texas Lottery & Charitable Bingo initiatives. This senior-level role involves planning, analyzing, coordinating, and implementing complex programming projects. The candidate will design, code, test, document, and implement enterprise applications while ensuring alignment with TDLR’s core values of integrity, responsibility, innovation, fiscal accountability, customer responsiveness, teamwork, and excellence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of SQL or PL/SQL development experience.
• 8+ years developing and maintaining secure .NET public websites.
• 8+ years experience in C# and ASP.NET (minimum 2 years on .NET 8.0+).
• 8+ years experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 8+ years software version control experience.
• 8+ years experience developing system documentation.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must be local to Austin.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Python batch scripting (1+ year).
• Experience using Agile methodology (1+ year).
• Experience with Syncfusion and Bold Reports for UI/UX and reporting.
• Experience integrating with Google and Apple authentication.
• Knowledge of .NET LINQ (1+ year).
• Experience developing Java applications (1+ year).
• Knowledge of Charitable Bingo rules and regulations (1+ year).
• Familiarity with interfaces and data exchange standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and implement secure .NET applications and public websites.
• Write and maintain C# code using ASP.NET (.NET 8.0 and higher).
• Develop front-end features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create and maintain system documentation, workflows, and technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain Python batch scripts as needed.
• Integrate applications with authentication systems, including Google and Apple.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodology.
• Utilize reporting tools such as Syncfusion and Bold Reports for rich UI/UX and reporting solutions.
• Support interfaces and data exchange between software applications.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
