About The Position

NetImpact is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our award-winning and innovative team. This role requires a seasoned developer who will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing .NET-based applications. The Senior .NET Developer will work closely with the Technical Lead to drive technical excellence, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software solutions. This is a full-time, fully remote teleworking position. Opportunity to work on cutting-edge digital transformation projects in the federal sector.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • U.S. Citizen; eligible for U.S. Public Trust Security Clearance.
  • 10+ years of experience in full stack .NET development (Core 8+)
  • Deep experience with: .NET Core Git Kubernetes Docker ML.NET or other ML model tools AWS DevSecOps Pipelines and Tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with Blazor
  • Previous Federal Consulting Experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of a large-scale mass communications platform including high throughput transactions and custom ML models for filtering PII/PHI.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize .NET Core 8 and Core 10 applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices in .NET development and REST API design.
  • Train, test, integrate, and deploy customized ML.NET models into the application workflow for predictive analytics and security enhancements.
  • Debug and resolve complex issues in a Kubernetes-based environment using Dockerized microservices.
  • Lead architectural discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
  • Leverage AI-based tools to optimize development workflow and promote AI-first mindset in the team
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to other developers.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing using GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and software development standards.
