About The Position

The Senior .NET Application Developer </b>performs advanced computer programming work in support of the Texas Lottery & Charitable Bingo operations. This role is responsible for planning, analyzing, scheduling, coordinating, and implementing programming projects, as well as providing technical assistance across functional areas. The position includes full software development lifecycle responsibilities such as analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, and implementation of secure public -facing web applications. The developer ensures applications align with agency standards and support operational effectiveness. Requirements

• 8 years of experience with SQL or PL/SQL.
• 8 years of software version control experience.
• 8 years of experience developing and maintaining secure .NET public websites.
• 8 years of experience with C# and ASP.NET, including at least 2 years with .NET 8.0 or higher.
• 8 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 8 years of experience developing system documentation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing and maintaining Python batch scripts.
• Experience working within Agile methodology.
• Experience using Syncfusion and Bold Reports for UI/UX development and reporting.
• Experience integrating applications with Google and Apple authentication systems.
• Experience with .NET LINQ (Language Integrated Query).
• Experience developing Java applications.
• Knowledge of Charitable Bingo Rules and Regulations.
• Knowledge of software interfaces and data exchange standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, schedule, coordinate, and implement programming projects.
• Design, develop, test, document, and deploy secure .NET web applications.
• Develop and maintain secure public -facing websites using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET 8.0 or higher.
• Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries and database components.
• Utilize software version control systems to manage source code and releases.
• Develop and maintain system and technical documentation.
• Provide technical assistance and support to internal stakeholders.
• Implement front -end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure applications comply with security and agency standards.
• Collaborate with team members to support agency initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
