We are seeking a Senior Munitions Analyst who will serve as the technical expert on ammunition quality, storage, and explosives safety across the full lifecycle—from production and storage to fielding and combat deployment. This role ensures that munitions are safe, reliable, and serviceable for warfighters worldwide while supporting emerging mission needs such as the integration of energetic payloads into Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (SUAS).

Requirements

• BS or BA degree
• 10 years of direct experience in munitions or explosive safety
• Some travel
• Must have an in-scope DoW Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Conduct end‑to‑end surveillance and inspection of all classes of munitions to verify serviceability, identify defects, assess storage conditions, and determine requirements for maintenance or demilitarization.
• Ensure strict compliance with explosives safety regulations throughout the manufacturing, handling, transport, storage, and disposal of ammunition at depots and global operational sites.
• Oversee ammunition maintenance activities, coordinate repairs for unserviceable items, and manage safe and compliant disposal actions for munitions deemed beyond repair.
• Interpret and apply technical data, engineering drawings, manuals, and specifications to evaluate ammunition condition and provide clear, accurate reports and recommendations to commanders and stakeholders.
• Develop, refine, and implement plans for integrating energetic payloads into Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems, ensuring safe performance and adherence to engineering and regulatory requirements.
