As a Senior Sourcing Specialist – MRO, you’ll play an important role in supporting MRO procurement with a focus on strong supplier partnerships and value‑driven sourcing projects that improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross‑functional partners and regional, national, and global sourcing teams to support Mosaic’s equipment and materials needs. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, major in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.
  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing and/or supply chain management
  • 3+ Contract Negotiations experience
  • Enterprise Business Systems experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic sourcing projects focused on Total Cost of Ownership across MRO and other key spend areas by applying Mosaic’s 9‑step strategic sourcing process, including category analysis, data review, and reporting.
  • Develop fact‑based category strategies using detailed analysis and market insights to improve sourcing outcomes and long‑term value.
  • Analyze and report spend trends across key MRO categories to support visibility, governance, and informed decision‑making.
  • Benchmark Mosaic pricing against market indicators such as PPI, CPI, and commodity pricing to ensure competitiveness and alignment with market conditions.
  • Monitor contractor and supplier performance against agreed commercial terms, working proactively to address risks and opportunities.
  • Lead and support regional, national, and global sourcing initiatives, including supplier market assessments, RFP/RFI development, market basket creation, analysis, and communications.
  • Partner closely with the Manager, Global MRO, and key stakeholders during negotiations, strategy development, and supplier selection.
  • Collaborate with site teams and suppliers to support effective implementation and adoption of sourcing strategies and agreements.
  • Engage with Legal to help develop and review commercial and non‑commercial terms, conditions, and supply agreements.
