Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master preferred in Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience as Systems Engineer in the Aerospace sector with a minimum of 8 years
  • Experience with Systems Engineering SW tools - MBSE, Requirements databases.
  • Experience on projects seeking or receiving certification at the system or product level in the Aerospace or Automotive industries (i.e. MIL-HDBK-516, MIL-HDBK-704,MIL-HDBK-810 ,Part 23, Part 25, TSO, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160)

Nice To Haves

  • Good working knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Software Engineering highly desired.
  • Polarion ALM
  • SCADE Architect or other SysML tool
  • Python

  • Confluence

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience in systems engineering modeling of UAV systems, including creation of all associated work products
  • Model Based development of System Architecture
  • Modeling and Simulation
  • System Interfaces
  • Responsible for the integration of the capabilities into the UAS
  • Work with the engineering leads to define use cases, operational scenarios, functional and physical architecture
  • Work with engineering teams to define interface parameters
  • History of management of requirements databases including performing bi-directional tracing, allocation of requirements from higher to lower levels,
  • Guide all responsible engineering into the MBSE process and design activities
  • Adapt and integrate SCADe too into Skydweller processes
