What You’ll Be Doing Lead and schedule mobile equipment maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable operations. Provide hands-on support diagnosing and resolving equipment issues. Coordinate parts, materials, and vendors to minimize equipment downtime. Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a strong safety culture. Monitor equipment performance and collaborate with plant leadership on maintenance planning. What We Are Looking For Supervise and mentor crews working with yellow iron, small mobile equipment, mobile cranes, pumps, and locomotive support equipment in a high-demand industrial setting. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues on mobile heavy equipment, applying sound judgment to determine safe and cost-effective repair paths. Collaborate effectively with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to ensure equipment readiness and smooth workflow coordination. Maintain strong organizational control over daily priorities, proactively managing resources, schedules, and competing operational demands. Champion a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all mobile equipment activities. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
