Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. The Amazon Leo team is looking for a Technical Program Manager with experience in launch vehicle and dispenser interface management; launch systems integration; mission management; project management; and program management for complex multi-manifest launches. The role will interface with cross-functional engineering and program/product management teams to manage launch campaigns, interface with launch vehicle and dispenser system providers, and interface with internal stakeholders delivering satellites to the launch site. Join us and make a difference to people around the world! A day in the life You will be assigned multiple launch missions a year to plan. For each mission you will be aligning launch dates with satellite production, coordinating resources to perform the launch campaign, verifying launch documentation is ready, and holding integration and launch readiness reviews. Your daily work will be at the Satellite production facility, Payload Processing Facility, or remote work. Work with a team of professional, experienced, space enthusiast Mission Managers to provide an efficient launch cadence to meet Amazon Leo production rates. Collaboration with various teams in Amazon Leo is essential as we strive to innovate and make launch as routine as boarding a passenger flight.
