About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration
• Minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience
• Hands-on laboratory experience
• Experience with USP for Sterility Testing
• Experience with USP for Bacterial Endotoxin Testing

Nice To Haves

• Experience in testing for USP Antimicrobial Efficacy Testing
• Familiarity with USP chapters for microbial limits testing

Responsibilities

• Perform/review preparations of reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures
• Conduct routine, non-routine, and complex analyses, including calibration and troubleshooting of instruments
• Read and understand analytical procedures and internal SOPs
• Support onboarding of new instrumentation and perform IQ/OQ/PQ data qualifications
• Demonstrate technical writing skills and complete investigations independently
• Process/review data, generate/review reports, and evaluate data
• Suggest and implement lab improvements to maximize quality and productivity
• Identify and support speaking or publishing opportunities
• Assist in diagnosing problems and suggest solutions to complex issues
