About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Merchant Services Sales Consultant for the Wells Fargo Merchant Services within Consumer Lending. In this role, you will partner with relationship bankers to maintain and grow relationships with customers by understanding their business, objectives, strategies, and challenges. You will review basic issues, policies, or procedures related to Merchant Services Sales functional area and provide software solutions, standalone terminals, Ecommerce solutions, and mobile solutions. Additionally, you will prospect new opportunities within Merchant Services Sales functional area and independently resolve moderately complex issues. You will lead a team to meet Merchant Services Sales functional area business objectives while leveraging a solid understanding of Merchant Services Sales functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaboration and consultation with Merchant Services Sales peers, colleagues, and middle-level managers will be essential to resolve issues and achieve business objectives. You will also consult on complex customer-specific payment solutions, including business needs assessments, analyzing merchants' current payment processing, creating customized proposals, analyzing financial statements, and effectively managing relationships.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Merchant Services Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education.
