About The Position

Responsible for being the foremost leader on architecture and technology in the company driving long-term innovation and setting technical strategy as a senior individual contributor. This role shapes our technology roadmap, leads groundbreaking research, and champions architectural excellence across all products and platforms. The Senior MTS evaluates and implements core technologies, tools, and solutions to drive continuous innovation and improvement. The Senior MTS is an expert in wireless telecommunications, IT, and network solutions, including billing, activation, data, e-commerce, and fulfillment technology. A Senior Member of Technical Staff is a senior technical role in the technology or engineering field. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and drives innovation and technical excellence within the organization. This is an individual contributor role that requires a high level of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to solve complex technical challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 15+ years of experience in wireless MNO/MVNO company and/or applicable SaaS / technology.
  • Deep expertise in systems architecture, cloud computing, distributed systems, and software development.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive long-term technical strategy and make high-level technical decisions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate sophisticated technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities with experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Visionary mindset focused on innovation, quality, and scalability, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Set and influence the long-term technical vision and strategy for the company's platforms and products.
  • Identify, evaluate, and spearhead the adoption of emerging technologies and innovative methodologies.
  • Design and review the architecture of complex, scalable systems, ensuring high standards of reliability, performance, and security.
  • Provide decisive guidance on architectural decisions and resolve complex technical challenges across multiple domains.
  • Lead cutting-edge research and development initiatives that pioneer new frameworks and technical methods.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and contribute to shaping the future of technology through white papers, conferences, and technical publications.
  • Mentor and advise senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
  • Serve as an internal and external technical evangelist—sharing insights at industry events, customer engagements, and thought leadership forums.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
  • Act as the final arbiter on critical technical decisions and drive consensus across diverse teams.
  • Influence executive-level strategy by providing deep technical insights, risk assessments, and opportunities.
  • Ensure technical solutions meet the highest quality standards and align with the company's strategic growth targets.
  • Establish and enforce architectural principles, coding standards, and quality assurance processes across the organization.
  • Oversee the implementation of robust, efficient, and maintainable technical solutions that drive sustainable business growth.
  • Conduct research for business development opportunities and coordinate work plans to achieve growth.
  • Follow through with compliance measures and establish procedures to improve organizational effectiveness.
