As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you’ll set the technical bar and shape the core systems underpinning our research and engineering. You’ll drive high-leverage architectural decisions, mentor engineers across domains, and help define how agentic AI workflows are integrated into our AI-native investment platform. This is a hands-on, principal IC role—not a manager.

  • Architect and implement mission-critical systems and infrastructure across the AI stack
  • Lead technical design, code quality, and best practices for engineering excellence
  • Operate as a multiplier—mentoring, reviewing code, and raising standards
  • Tackle the hardest problems in distributed systems, data, and AI engineering
  • Shape how agentic workflows fit into the system, ensuring robustness, scalability, and integration with backend and infra layers
  • Extensive experience (typically 6+ years) building and scaling complex systems
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, data infrastructure, and backend architecture
  • High proficiency in Python plus at least one systems language (Go, Rust, C++)
  • Track record of technical leadership and mentorship in elite teams
  • Relentless pursuit of technical excellence and first-principles problem solving
  • Experience designing and deploying agentic systems for LLMs (e.g. LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Haystack, or custom frameworks)
  • Strong grasp of orchestration patterns: state management, persistence/checkpointing, streaming pipelines, human-in-the-loop flows, multi-agent coordination
  • Familiarity with structured outputs (e.g. Pydantic), observability/tracing (LangSmith, OpenTelemetry), and vector/knowledge store integrations
  • Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration (AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Expertise in leveraging the latest AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc.) to increase productivity & code output while maintaining high code quality, maintainability, and structure
