About The Position

At Businessolver, we are seeking a full-time Senior Member Advocate to support our clients by taking phone calls regarding retiree benefit enrollment. This is a meaningful role in which you can take pride in knowing that at the other end of our technology is a person, a family member, or a loved one that needs your support. The position requires providing outstanding support to inbound callers regarding retiree inquiries and requests, assisting with enrollment related to retiree programs, and ensuring compliance in all areas of processing. You will need to take accountability for the entire process from receipt of work to resolution, and the role will initially require a schedule of 9am - 6pm CT.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience with retirement plans and retiree benefits is required and non-negotiable.
  • 5+ years' experience with retirement plans and retiree benefits is ideal.
  • Experience with benefit plan policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to retirees and beneficiaries.
  • Knowledge regarding the processes retired employees experience and the options they have with company benefits (for instance COBRA and Medicare).
  • Strong customer-centric mindset.
  • Comfort level with technology - we are a technology company!
  • Ability to diagnose and own technology issues.
  • Embracing new technology as it is integrated into the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provides outstanding support to inbound callers regarding Retiree inquiries and requests.
  • Assists with enrollment related to Retiree programs.
  • Answers inbound calls professionally, with high energy and a positive attitude.
  • Responds accurately and thoroughly to caller inquiries and documents call details accordingly.
  • Ensures compliance in all areas of processing, completing all transactions timely and accurately.
  • Takes accountability for the entire process from receipt of work to resolution.
  • Jumps in and helps as needed, understanding the business and processes to assist others effectively.
  • Works under general supervision following established procedures.
