Play an essential role in the quality and safety of patient care by providing accurate diagnostic and treatment information. We are seeking a Senior Medical Technologist (MT) – Float to: Provide daily direction to other laboratory staff with regard to laboratory workload, policies, procedures, and recommend adjustments to staffing, policies and procedures. Serve as a consult for test performance and technical problems. Motivate, coordinate and support staff to ensure quality results are reported in a timely manner. Assure that all remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the laboratory’s established performance specifications and that patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the test system is properly functioning.
