About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology, or equivalent education and training.
• For Senior Medical Laboratory Technician: One year of experience performing moderate and some high complexity testing in a clinical laboratory and successful completion of competency assessment.
• For Medical Technologist: No minimum work experience needed.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Medical Lab Science, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Banking, or Molecular Biology by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or similar agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing in the clinical laboratories of varying complexity.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem resolution.
• Demonstrate strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently.
