About The Position
Sarepta is at the forefront of genetic medicine, holding leadership positions in Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) and limb-girdle muscular dystrophies (LGMDs). With over 40 programs in various stages of development in gene therapy, RNA, and gene editing, Sarepta launched its fourth therapy in 2023, marking the first-ever gene therapy to treat Duchenne. The Senior Director will lead a therapeutic area or large program, advancing Sarepta's clinical-stage programs, prioritizing resource and project allocation to ensure optimal performance and alignment with corporate objectives. This role requires strong team leadership skills and deep knowledge of the drug development process, from early/translational phases through to registration.
