In this dynamic role, you will coordinate a wide range of patient care services, including: Scheduling new patient visits, follow‑up appointments, treatments, and diagnostic testing Completing insurance verifications, referrals, and authorizations Preparing, updating, and maintaining accurate medical records Reconciling billing concerns and supporting smooth financial workflows Managing multiple phone lines, triaging calls, and ensuring timely communication Success in this position requires exceptional communication, strong problem‑solving abilities, and a steady, compassionate presence. Requirements

  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of certified medical assistant program
  • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a healthcare setting required (i.e. physician’s office, scheduler, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree --or-- Equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with emphasis in Health Care
  • Experienced in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations
  • Experience with Epic
