About The Position

Senior Medical Assistants/MA-C - Primary Care at Swedish Medical Group” Full-Time Senior Medical Assistants/MA-C are MAs with over 2 years of experience (6 months at a BRAND clinic). In addition to standard MA responsibilities like helping with administrative and clinical tasks, you’ll take on a leadership role and help guide clinic operations and counsel Associate Medical Assistants beginning their careers. After a year of service as a Senior Medical Assistant, and a MA-C designation, you’ll be eligible for a Lead MA promotion and additional leadership responsibilities. Requirements

  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
  • Coursework/Training: Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
  • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 2 years medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
  • 2 years’ Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
  • 6 months Working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years
