About The Position
Under the direct medical supervision of a physician, the MA with Limited X-ray License implements delegated aspects of care and assists in both direct and indirect patient care and routine diagnostic radiographic services. Requirements
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 2 years Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
- 2 years Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
- 6 months Working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years.
Nice To Haves
- Coursework/Training Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with an externship (Applied learning).
- Or Coursework/Training Has completed medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
- Or Coursework/Training Has worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic environment for at least six months.
- Or Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification.
