About The Position

The position involves collaborating with application developers and system administrators to ensure interoperability between cloud and on-premises components, as well as between different cloud platforms. The role requires resolving integration challenges and developing detailed plans for migrating applications, data, and infrastructure from on-premises environments to the cloud while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Additionally, the candidate will design, implement, and manage containerized solutions using Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms to ensure scalability, reliability, and security. The role also includes designing and defining API architecture and standards, implementing Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions for secure file exchange, and working with various stakeholders to ensure the cloud strategy meets their needs. The candidate will manage, monitor, and optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 8 years of progressively responsible information technology experience in developing large scale systems comparable to the NY State of Health (NYSOH), three of these years must have been managing teams.
• 5 years' experience in architecting solutions in Java, Python, and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• 3 years' experience in architecting and developing solutions using Salesforce Low-code platform.
• Demonstrated experience managing vendors, including monitoring of service level agreements and adherence to contract terms.
• Demonstrated experience working in health and human services at a national, state or local level as well as experience working with Medicaid programs in New York State.
• Demonstrated experience with designing and implementing APIs within microservices environment.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing MFT solutions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering cloud solutions on the Salesforce platform that deliver business value to customers.
• Industry certifications in AWS / GCP.
