About The Position

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Mechatronics Engineer specializing in the end-to-end development of advanced motorized and heated consumer products. Proven track record of bridging the gap between high-level mechatronic concepts and mass production by collaborating with international R&D teams. Expert in prototyping, feasibility analysis, and implementing automated design solutions to drive product strategy from initial concept to global market validation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Robotics Engineer, or in a related position.
• Experience must include electromechanical system integration, prototyping & design for manufacturing (DFM), CAD design & 3D modeling, embedded systems & control logic development, and material selection & thermal management.

Responsibilities

• Design prototypes of advanced motorized and heated consumer products and equipment to be used in a variety of applications.
• Implement or test consumer product design solutions as part of the Product Innovation Team.
• Create product concepts that will be tested with our consumers, prototyped, and then validated in the U.S., with support from our R&D teams in China where required.
• Realize product opportunity in terms of feasibility across design, engineering, culinary, marketing, brand, CI and legal and utilize the considerable resources of our China teams and suppliers to complete the detail design and manufacturing preparation.
• Apply mechatronic or automated solutions to the transfer of materials, components, or finished consumer products.
• Publish engineering reports documenting design details, test results, and additional projections.
• Create mechanical models to simulate mechatronic design concepts.
• Analyze existing development or manufacturing procedures and suggest improvements.
• Determine the feasibility, costs, or performance benefits of new consumer products.
• Collaborate with our international teams in developing consumer products to develop product strategy, discuss timelines, and iron out additional details.
