About The Position

Engineered Cooling Services is a leading commercial and industrial HVAC contractor serving Central and North Florida. This role is critical to driving project profitability, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction on high-value mechanical construction projects. The Senior Mechanical Project Manager will lead commercial mechanical projects from turnover through closeout while maintaining responsibility for financial performance, scheduling, forecasting accuracy, risk management, and field coordination. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage complex mechanical systems projects while protecting project margins and supporting both office and field operations to deliver successful outcomes. This position will also mentor project support staff and collaborate closely with field leadership, safety teams, and operations management.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of commercial mechanical or HVAC project management experience
  • Proven success managing modernization, system replacement, and infrastructure upgrade projects
  • Strong financial management and forecasting skills
  • Working knowledge of chillers, hydronic systems, pumps, air handling equipment, and controls integration
  • Experience coordinating field manpower and subcontractors
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Procore or similar construction management platforms preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial mechanical projects ranging from $750K to $10M+
  • Maintain accurate cost-to-complete forecasting and margin control
  • Develop and manage project schedules and manpower planning
  • Coordinate procurement of equipment and long-lead materials
  • Oversee subcontractor and vendor performance
  • Drive monthly billing, revenue tracking, and cash flow performance
  • Maintain organized project documentation and reporting systems
  • Partner closely with field leadership to ensure successful execution
  • Ensure thorough and timely project closeout and client turnover
