The Senior Program Engineer (SPE) provides technical expertise during the pre-award phase of complex engineering projects, focusing on standardization, modularization, and alignment with customer needs. They ensure scope, schedules, and budgets meet organizational standards and client expectations. Acting as the primary technical liaison, the SPE facilitates communication between engineering, sales, and clients to support project execution. During project handover, the SPE prepares risk assessments, identifies opportunities, and shares Lessons Learned to guide execution. They create customer specification packages, conduct periodic audits, and provide recommendations to maintain project success. Additionally, they lead multi-discipline Project Design Reviews and collaborate with the Training team to develop and deliver technical training materials.
